Tajiki--WHAT?

I wise professor once told us, “After traveling to strange lands and learning to empathize with different people, it is time to return home. And we find, then, that home has become the last frontier to discover and understand.”

So I plan on applying for the Critical Language Scholarship this coming fall, but I have no clue which language to apply for.
I mean I’m already doing the whole Arabic thing, but Arabic is a lot more competitive, and you can only apply for one language. And I love all languages, and there are so many places in the world that need help.
Time to do some country research I suppose.

Brojon
today on facebook I witnessed a Tajik former exchange student to the US address his friend in English as “brojon” attatching the Persian affectionate suffix -jon to “bro”, I found it amusing. It’s too perfect, I would use that if brojononam would understand what I meant.
